IT is commonly reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not among the gentiles, that a man should have his father's wife.
And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed should be removed from among you.
For I indeed as absent in body, but present in spirit, have already judged as present him that has so done this,
in the name of our Lord Jesus you being assembled together and my spirit with the power of our Lord Jesus
to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
Your rejoicing is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole mass?
Remove the old leaven, that you may be a new mass, as you are unleavened; for Christ our passover was also sacrificed for us.
Let us therefore keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with a leaven of vice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
I wrote to you in the epistle not to associate with fornicators;
not altogether the fornicators of this world, or the covetous and rapacious, or idolaters, since then you would have to go out of the world.
But now I have written to you not to associate, if any one called a brother is a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or rapacious, even to eat with such a one.
For what business have I to judge those without? Do you not judge those within?
but those without, God judges. Remove therefore the evil man from among you.
